Pemba (MOZTIMES) – At least seven soldiers from the Mozambique Defence Armed Forces (FADM) were killed overnight from Saturday to Sunday following insurgent attacks on two military positions in Macomia district, in central Cabo Delgado province.
Residents of Macomia town said the attack reportedly occurred in the Namabo area, a permanent FADM military position located near the V Congresso locality, in Chai administrative post.
