Maputo (MOZTIMES) – The chairperson of the Confederation of Mozambican Business Associations (CTA), Alvaro Massingue, has warned that the country needs to step up the pace of industrialisation, and abandon the model of exporting unprocessed raw materials.

Speaking on Monday at the trade fair FENA, in the northern city of Nampula, Massingue declared that the main challenge facing the country is not just to produce more, but to transform raw materials locally and export products with greater value added.
