Maputo (MOZTIMES) — The Mozambican government has unveiled an ambitious plan to modernize strategic border crossings and logistics infrastructure, betting on private-sector participation to improve trade flows and strengthen the country's position as a regional gateway.
The Council of Ministers on Tuesday approved a series of resolutions authorizing international tenders for infrastructure projects that include the concession of the Moatize Dry Port in Tete Province and the modernization of border facilities linking Mozambique to neighboring countries.
