Maputo (MOZTIMES) — The promise of a better future abroad is turning into a nightmare for some Mozambicans who have travelled overseas after receiving fake job offers, only to find themselves stranded without employment and facing the prospect of having to return home.
The government has warned citizens about fraudulent recruitment networks after confirming new cases involving Mozambicans who were deceived into travelling to Portugal and the Central African Republic based on false employment opportunities.
