Maputo (MOZTIMES) – The Mozambican government has approved a resolution opening the path to expanding cargo movement in the Port of Maputo, through including a new area of the Multi-purpose Terminal 9, phase B, into the current port concession.
The Council of Ministers took this decision on Tuesday. It authorises the Minister who supervises the ports to form a technical team to negotiate with the Maputo Port Development Company (MPDC) over the terms of a fifth addendum to the concession contract signed in 2020.
