Maputo (MOZTIMES) – Mozambican President Daniel Chapo on Wednesday pledged to step up the fight against corruption, kidnappings and bureaucratic obstacles, as his government seeks to attract more domestic and foreign investment, assuring business leaders that Mozambique is “open for investment, innovation and partnership.”
Addressing hundreds of executives and investors at the Mozambique CEO Summit in Maputo, Chapo acknowledged that improving the business environment has become one of his administration's top priorities, promising reforms aimed at restoring investor confidence.
