Maputo (MOZTIMES) – President Daniel Chapo announced the first members of his government this Friday, including the Prime Minister, Ministers of Finance, Defence, Foreign Affairs, and other key sectors.

- Maria Benvinda Delfina Levi – Prime Minister
- Cristóvão Chume – Minister of National Defence
- Paulo Chachine – Minister of the Interior
- Maria Manuela dos Maria Lucas – Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation
- Carla Alexandra Loveira – Minister of Finance
- Inocêncio Florentino José Impissa – Minister of State Administration and Public Service
- Roberto Mito Albino – Minister of Agriculture, Environment, and Fisheries
- Salim Ismael Valá – Minister of Planning and Development
- Estevão Tomás Rafael Pale – Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy
- Basílio Zefanias Muhate – Minister of Economy
- Américo Muchanga – Minister of Communications and Digital Transformation
- João Jorge Matlombe – Minister of Transport and Logistics
- Ussene Hilário Isse – Minister of Health
Among the appointees, there are no members of opposition parties or representatives of civil society.
The members of the new Government will be sworn in on Saturday morning at the Office of the Head of State in Maputo, the President office announced in a statement issued on Friday evening.
