Mozambique is one of the main destinations for foreign direct investment on the African continent, mainly for exploration and exploitation of natural resources (forestry, mining, energy and fishing). Mozambique is also one of the top producers and exporters of electricity, rubies, graphite, coal and aluminium, and it also produces and exports significant quantities of fisheries produce and agricultural resources.
