Boane (MOZTIMES) - The Mozambican Government will intensify the use of ground water for irrigation as one of the measures to reduce the effects of the drought associated with the El Niño weather phenomenon.
Speaking in the southern district of Boane on Thursday, the National Director of Agriculture, Jubala Zibia, said this is part of the actions being prepared by the Ministry of Agriculture to support producers and reinforce the response capacity of the agrarian sector facing the impacts of climate change.
