Maputo (MOZTIMES) – Mozambican Health Minister Ussene Isse announced in Maputo on Tuesday that the government is investigating claims that expired medicines are being sold in public health units.
Speaking to reporters after a meeting of the Council of Ministers, Isse said the claims had been brought to the Ministry’s notice through reports on social media and public statements (by, for example, leaders of health workers’ trade unions).
