Maputo (MOZTIMES) – Former presidential candidate Venancio Mondlane is the sole candidate for the presidency of the political party he set up, the National Alliance for a Free and Autonomous Mozambique (Anamola).
According to an Anamola source cited by the Portuguese news agency, Lusa, Mondlane submitted his candidacy on 2 June. The election will be held at an Anamola National Convention due to take place in the northern city of Nampula on 20-22 June.
